This currently is the oldest running project of NFOWD. ActionAid Bangladesh first started supporting NFOWD in 1996, and had been providing support till the year 2000 on an event-funding basis. In that year, a long-standing project had been chalked out, and from the year 2001 this project has been running in a much more coordinated manner.

Promoting the Rights of Persons with Disabilities in Bangladesh
Funding Partner: DFID-UK Initiated In: 2004
This is the only program, which is jointly operated by NFOWD and Handicap International (HI). A three-year project, some of its components are operated by NFOWD, while the others will be operated by HI, but in consultation and active collaboration of each other.
